Hẹn gặp lại Việt Nam

Definitely enjoyed re-visiting Đà Lạt and checking out Đà Nẵng. Our lovely resort definitely took good care of us. Service was warm, prompt and efficient. Perhaps I terrorized them too. :P Anyway.

Understood a little more about Quảng Nam Province, its people and food. Had plenty of sunshine amidst wet grey. Didn't meet one mosquito. Neither did that man. Amazing. It must be because the weather's cooling down. The rain was of no hindrance. Did loads of walking and importantly, saw lots of green and went out beyond the usual tourist paths.

Always look forward to a trip to Vietnam. Love its food and coffee. The sights offer something so different from the usual steel and glass at home, away from the manufactured vibes or freshly painted restored facades. To me, Vietnam has always been friendly and hospitable. Not saying that my experiences have been 100% awesome. Far from it. But generally, the good far outweighs the bad, and that's me being pessimistic. When traveling, I try to look for the positive aspects, based on certain pre-existing conditions of course, not the justification. The lovely things exist. There cannot be a comparison to Singapore. Don't really want to dissect it. Not picking a city to reside in. I see each city for what it is as a tourist. There's always a reason to visit Vietnam's towns and cities. Perhaps Hanoi next year. We'll see. I don't bother planning trips this far ahead. Not even going to think about next year till it arrives.

Cho đến lúc đó Việt Nam. Hẹn gặp lại.
